Fast-Food Sauce Draft: A Flavorful Journey from McDonald's to In-N-Out

Fast-Food Sauce Draft: A Flavorful Journey from McDonald's to In-N-Out

Who reigns supreme in the fast-food sauce world? Prepare your tastebuds for a mouthwatering journey of flavors, from Chick-fil-A to Cain's and In-N-Out, as we dissect the merits of each. While we're at it, we'll toss around my personal preference for Thousand Island dressing and attempt to settle the age-old question of which sauce is the true king. We'll also step into the ring with the famous Diablo sauce from Taco Bell - a fiery favorite of our guest Jordan, and venture into the sometimes confusing world of salsa and pico de gallo in Mexico.

What's the perfect accompaniment to a juicy burger or crispy nuggets? We've got you covered. Our spirited discussion stirs up a storm, spilling over from sauces to burgers and even grappling with the messy affair of consuming a wet chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A. We talk about opting for spicy ketchup at Whataburger and why that seems to be a crowd favorite. Whether you have a penchant for ketchup, mustard, ranch, or something else entirely, we guarantee a saucy revelation by the end of this episode.

Do you consider yourself a connoisseur of fast food sauces? Or perhaps you're just curious about this seemingly insignificant yet vital component of the fast food experience? Then gear up as we compare flavors from McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, In-N-Out, and more, delving into our adventures in Arby's and beyond. We share our thoughts on everything from McDonald's hot mustard to Culver's creamy cheese sauce. Have a seat, grab some nuggets (or fries, or a burger), and get ready for a flavorful ride!

Speaker 1:

This is the.

Speaker 2:

Fantasy Football Dudes podcast.

Speaker 3:

What is up, my dudes? This is Trent with the Fantasy Football Dudes podcast. We got a nice draft coming in here today. Today's draft we are going to do fast food sauce Fast food sauce draft is what it is. You know, we had some smoke on Twitter about this recently.

Speaker 4:

So we thought we'd make it a draft.

Speaker 3:

You know someone was calling out in and out burger Phil got upset, called me. you know mad saying this needs to be a draft.

Speaker 4:

Mad blind.

Speaker 3:

We almost did a draft that night, just me and Phil. I don't know if a two person draft would have been good.

Speaker 5:

Yeah. Maybe, We should have. No, no, yeah, okay.

Speaker 3:

It could have been worse than our last draft. Seth is back finally for this draft, so that's good to have in the house.

Speaker 5:

Jordan had a major problem with you saying Miracle Whip.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Jordan had a major problem with me saying Miracle Whip, i don't think ketchup is a sauce either.

Speaker 5:

Would you consider it a spread? No, it's a condiment, i think it's just a condiment, so what's so?

Speaker 1:

that.

Speaker 3:

So the thing with this is relish a sauce. No, no, it's not. But why so? Miracle Whip is not a sauce, neither is ketchup. Are they in bottles you can squeeze? So is relish, So is relish. I think ketchup is a sauce, absolutely a sauce.

Speaker 1:

No, it's not, It's a condiment.

Speaker 5:

So, according to Wikipedia, the definition of a sauce is a liquid, cream or semi-solid food served on or used in preparing other foods.

Speaker 1:

So is honey a sauce.

Speaker 5:

I think in theory it would be considered one. I would call honey a sauce, semi-solid food served on.

Speaker 4:

I love putting honey sauce in my coffee Honey sauce.

Speaker 3:

Have you put Mike's hot honey on your pizza? That's really good.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, hot honey, People do that. That is really good. Actually I like doing that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so quit making fun of honey.

Speaker 4:

It's a yeah. OK.

Speaker 5:

So you're saying Miracle Whip is not a sauce.

Speaker 4:

So maybe a definition like Miracle Whip is a sauce, but when I see Miracle Whip and it comes in a tub, yeah it's a tub that you need a spoon or a knife with, whereas ketchup is. you don't use a spoon or a knife with ketchup.

Speaker 5:

So you wouldn't say mayo is a sauce, you would throw it. You would say no, and I would kind of agree with you.

Speaker 4:

I would think it's a little less liquidy and a little more viscous right What?

Speaker 3:

is viscous.

Speaker 2:

It's thicker Yeah.

Speaker 3:

It's thicker, ok, viscous, so we're going to get. So the rule is it has to be at a fast food restaurant.

Speaker 5:

Has to be at a fast food restaurant.

Speaker 3:

And I probably want to go nationally. Probably want to go nationally. And before we do that draft, we are going to recap last or the last draft we did, which was our patriotic movie draft. And, phil, you want me to do this a different.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, from left to right And it threw.

Speaker 3:

It did throw people off.

Speaker 1:

I was told. I was told I can read either. It was bizarre.

Speaker 3:

Phil told me like oh no, that looks way better, like that.

Speaker 1:

Well, when you ever listen to what Phil says, like you know, everyone's like, everyone's like.

Speaker 3:

I give the guy a shot.

Speaker 2:

You think people voted wrong.

Speaker 3:

I don't think so Ended up being so.

Speaker 5:

Ended up. I ended up getting just so.

Speaker 2:

Which is not the I thought I got. a knowledge has changed, yeah, team one was actually hoping for confusion.

Speaker 3:

Patriotic movie draft. team one I took Patriot, rocky for Air Force One and Red Dawn. Like I said last week, i think Midway should have been on here. Team two was Phil. He took Miracle, lone Survivor, glory and Major Pain. Team three was Jordan who took Saving Private Ryan, Topman Hurtlocker in Pearl Harbor. So that was a good draft. Go check that one out. We argue about you know which top guns better What's a patriotic movie? Make fun of Phil for Major Pain and more. But yeah, that was last week's draft set, I think has to take the last pick in the draft for missing the draft. I think that's a fair thing to do for the record, you did not get annihilated.

Speaker 1:

Phil, you and I are barely trying to annihilate both.

Speaker 4:

I had 60 confusion almost gave Phil.

Speaker 3:

Maybe it's very well could have made people thought that Phil took.

Speaker 1:

Someone actually tweeted loves the major pain pick. Who tweeted that? Give it a name.

Speaker 4:

I think that's someone who just had.

Speaker 3:

Oh.

Speaker 5:

I know they were on the pot, I think when we did.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a producer. I don't know if we can bring it back after that.

Speaker 5:

Honestly, I don't know. He's a good producer. A Sandlot, is that a?

Speaker 1:

patriotic movie. I know people, someone has someone.

Speaker 4:

Someone called me that they play baseball under the fireworks.

Speaker 3:

Yes, someone called me and said you could make a huge argument for Sandlot Independence Day.

Speaker 1:

Like I'm just not a big, that's a huge.

Speaker 5:

That would be a huge mistake.

Speaker 1:

Independence Day is like yeah, Yeah, I put major pain on there.

Speaker 4:

So, what can I really say? I think it's less of a stretch than major pain, but I think Sandlot absolutely.

Speaker 3:

Sandlot, absolutely, is Someone said.

Speaker 4:

If we firework Fantasy, dad, i think it is.

Speaker 3:

Fantasy dad said Jaws, he was upset. We didn't have Jaws on here.

Speaker 5:

I actually do think Sandlot is a, is a an American movie or a patriotic film?

Speaker 4:

You could almost say like baseball is maybe the most patriotic sport.

Speaker 1:

Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay, Independence Day. I don't think it was the first thing you don't think.

Speaker 3:

Independence Day.

Speaker 1:

To me, when I think of patriotic movies, they have to be real. I think of real life, like things based on, like stuff that happened in the in, like like US history like that's top like top gun.

Speaker 4:

Yes, but that's kind of based on a real thing, but it is based off the real top like aliens are never coming to the earth not realistic same thing with it's.

Speaker 1:

The independence day is the same argument for my red dawn not being a patriotic movie same argument okay, i can see that, but I think red dawn is, i think, pretty patriotic.

Speaker 4:

But absolutely.

Speaker 3:

It is that independence day. Did you miss me, boys? I'm back, all right. Well, let's get today's draft. Before we get today's draft, it is hot here in the studio and what helps so hot? the modern man's man, it takes care of himself. Manscaping isn't just for live special occasions. It's a requirement for optimal health, spirit, hygiene and healthy self-esteem. You know, have the right tools for safe, precise grooming and hard to navigate sensitive areas. Plus post trimming products. Go to Manscape guys introduced 20, 20% off your whole entire order. It really helps us out, tell me, since I get that 20% off. The boxers are really good, the soaps good the scrubber your names will thank you. Yeah, thank you yeah, maybe you're a luffa guy upgraded this new rubber scrub, silicone scrubber. You'll be happy. I think it's better.

Speaker 4:

I think it's better too, we might should do a little demo of how to use it you know, the thing about the thing is of the luffa is sometimes I feel like it's a little too scratchy, yes, and whereas like those sponges that you use, or maybe a little too soft, or like I feel like those aren't, they get dirty really quick. They can hold water yeah that the rubber one or I don't know what silicone maybe is what?

Speaker 2:

the right word is it doesn't it doesn't.

Speaker 4:

It's easy to clean. If you have to clean it and I feel like it really doesn't get that dirty and also you can you can go pretty hard, but it's also nice to you. You can go hard in the paint you can go hard in the paint but also doesn't leave you marked up on your back try a luffa wood.

Speaker 1:

Do you remember yes, you know last season, when you had a video of you taking a shower?

Speaker 3:

yeah, and I got in trouble for it yeah, maybe you can add the the luffa, yeah, you can have this scrubber that video?

Speaker 4:

I don't feel now. I thought that video was great, it was so good you remember it. Yeah, i was tying the time my head like yeah, it was me tying my it wasn't the other contents on the other pod yeah, all, right all right, let's get into this draft here.

Speaker 3:

So, anyways, that we're doing a fast food sauce draft, you guys need to grow out.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, if you particularly you know you will road rage freak oh man, okay, sauce draft.

Speaker 3:

So this draft is gonna go me Jordan Phil Seth, and we all know what trends taking? yeah, we do.

Speaker 1:

I think I go.

Speaker 3:

I think I go Chick-fil-A sauce here, so I'm so good, so good, like that's like one of let me just sorry, tram I cut you off here, but that's one of those sauces that you look for in the store.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, put in your fridge.

Speaker 4:

I don't do that with any other fast food sauce. Yeah, it has raised the level to where it sorry it doesn't directly compete with Heinz ketchup yes, you put it right next to Heinz ketchup in your fridge and you want both of them yes, yeah, it is equally.

Speaker 3:

I go through chick-fil-a sauce so fast.

Speaker 4:

It is so freaking good, so good so serious question.

Speaker 1:

Actually, the only like one of the few things I like about Chick-fil-A is actually their sauce so here's it.

Speaker 3:

If this pic gets brought up, there's something that I think you need to go try there, but it's like it's not secret menu. It's like there's this stuff I see on like my Instagram and like YouTube shorts, but like like there's a new fad going on right now people go to McDonald's they get no, i want to try the grimace shake.

Speaker 4:

I haven't done that, actually discontinued. I know and I'm getting on the last night and they said we're out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, shocker milk milkshake machines down at McDonald's. I'm shocked. No, you get two hash browns in McFlurry and you get the McFlurry and you spread it on the hash brown, you have a McFlurry sandwich with two it's, i don't know people like

Speaker 4:

that's definition that might be in the most patriotic thing you've ever said you never do the fries in the milkshake it is.

Speaker 1:

It's not that different.

Speaker 3:

I don't, but I don't do it a lot, but I have a sandwich with fried potatoes?

Speaker 4:

yeah, it's, it just seems weird. The fries are like more of a dip.

Speaker 3:

I want to try it. Just to say I tried it?

Speaker 1:

yeah, i think so you have to wait. That's how did that come up after we?

Speaker 3:

just brought up McDonald's with a grimace shake and I don't know you so there's something. I want to try it. Chick-fil-a, but I might save it. Yeah, he's just giving me just yeah.

Speaker 1:

I know he's talking about no my question trend is you're about the biggest ketchup guy I know. If you can, only if you have chicken nuggets and you can only you literally it's a lot.

Speaker 5:

You, you're dying like it's your last meal yeah, i've been here before this, this Liz rent free in his mind while he's driving to work catch up or chick-fil-a sauce for nuggets okay let's just say

Speaker 1:

you can choose a sauce, the last sauce you'll ever use for entire life. What are you taking? ketchup or chick-fil-a?

Speaker 3:

like if you say chicken, it's absolutely chick-fil-a sauce, but like anything else I would say ketchup how about like ketchup's?

Speaker 1:

universal yeah, chicken chick-fil-a what you just could say ketchup is the duck tape of sauces you say you get his food, even puts on his anything. I just taste one sauce. You did taste one, the last thing you taste before you die.

Speaker 5:

I think it's okay.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have the it's a good hill to die on, it is so your chick-fil-a sauce over ketchup.

Speaker 3:

I think I'm chick-fil-a sauce, so you're gonna put chick-fil-a on your next Bob burrito you're right, i'm probably ketchup guy. Yeah, cuz I do put a ketchup on.

Speaker 4:

Ketchup is very good on.

Speaker 3:

Mexican food and.

Speaker 5:

I'm very upset that Taco Bell doesn't offer ketchup you put on pizza. I don't do it on pizza, i do do it on.

Speaker 3:

I do do it on Mexican food. It's that's. I'm sorry, i put on egg, sorry we live in California.

Speaker 2:

Trent is not from the Midwest yeah, like some of you guys who watch, yeah we might put ketchup on their fake Mexican yeah, we actually have real.

Speaker 4:

We actually have real food, and we still try to Americanize it.

Speaker 1:

It's way past. It belongs in the Midwest.

Speaker 4:

Yeah with that take yes with that palette. I would I should say this palette is advanced.

Speaker 3:

How dare you bash my palate?

Speaker 4:

I love Trent when he takes a bite of his burrito and then sucks down a ketchup in the other hand. Yeah, that is a bash sure you do all right so here we go what do we got here.

Speaker 3:

So who's next? Jordan's next. I took chick-fil-a.

Speaker 1:

I think it mines pretty, i'm going Cain's Cain sauce all right, all right.

Speaker 5:

That makes me feel.

Speaker 1:

I really like you're gonna go two or three yeah, you're a big Cain's guy. I really like I can't believe you like Cain's.

Speaker 5:

There was a time now Trent did call me out for this there was a time there was a time I do like both. There was a time that I thought Cain's was a lot better than chick-fil-a.

Speaker 1:

I no longer think that he's changed so much. Phil is.

Speaker 3:

Phil is one of those. Like you know, he wants to be in the in-crowd kind of guy right there. So it was like when Cain's was new it was all I knew.

Speaker 1:

He was like he's like yeah, this is good yeah, i really like Cain's and I really like their sauce.

Speaker 3:

I can't get on to that sauce train. I like I want to Jordan. No, you know two times.

Speaker 5:

It's just not like fresh their food is not fresh, like I still like it but it tastes like it's been in the. You know, back in the day when you had ordered food to go like during COVID, when restaurants were shut down you'd order food to go and you take it and you got home and it was just like not as good, like a little bit lukewarm. That's how I feel about every time I go to where do you go?

Speaker 1:

where? what Cain's? do you go to Hanford?

Speaker 3:

Hanford one's always been great when I go yeah, i'll second. I just don't know, like I it's always super warm.

Speaker 5:

I just feel like it's not crispy like the chick-fil-a. I don't like.

Speaker 1:

I don't like it's super crispy, so that I think it's fried chicken. You don't like super crispy. I don't really like fried chicken in general, but I like the Cain's, so you're down with Cain's, yeah like what do you describe that sauce as?

Speaker 3:

like what does it taste? like I?

Speaker 5:

it just seems very bland to me no, it's not bland, i think, i think.

Speaker 4:

I think. I think the chick-fil-a sauce is a little more stronger, but in it it may be a little even more sweeter.

Speaker 1:

So sweeter, so like this one QSR magazine describes it as peppery smoke to put tomato base cream sauce. That sounds about right.

Speaker 4:

I think the peppery smoke kind of seems right yeah, yeah it's a little less aggressive than the chick-fil-a sauce, but it's. I like it in its own different way. It's almost not comparable, in my opinion yeah, i just yeah.

Speaker 3:

Okay, this is what it is. What do you got it said?

Speaker 5:

to be mayo, ketchup, garlic, worcestershire sauce and black pepper.

Speaker 1:

I really like that black, the black pepper, i think, is the pepper bite you get into it?

Speaker 5:

yeah, no, i can see that. And you, now that I know that it's Worcestershire in there, i can taste it and I'm like, okay, yeah, it's kind of not too bad. All right, what do you go?

Speaker 3:

in and out sauce. See, i don't. This is another one that I'm just like you're not a huge fan, i can make that at my house fries.

Speaker 5:

I love dipping on french fries. All my burger are you talking? about the orange stuff in the burger, the spread, the spread I'm talking about in and out spread.

Speaker 1:

I'll be honest, i didn't realize till about a couple weeks ago that you could even get that extra, the extra spread.

Speaker 5:

Where have you been living? at my guy, i just what's the point?

Speaker 1:

I this is my idea. For the record, i'm not a big fry, dip fry into sauce guy.

Speaker 5:

So you're just you're, you're, you're a dry fry.

Speaker 1:

I'm usually a dry fry guy but the canes that I'll dip the, especially with the like. The fries are more crispy at like in and out. Yeah, i don't feel the need as much for sauce, um, but I wouldn't mind trying this.

Speaker 3:

I just didn't realize that sauce is ketchup in mayonnaise.

Speaker 5:

No there's some other stuff in there pickles, pickles. There's some pickles in there We could probably look it up, but that sauce is. That you definitely can't make it as good at at home, and also your ketchup It's like. It's like thousand island.

Speaker 3:

It's mayo, ketchup, thousand island but thousand.

Speaker 1:

It's mayo, ketchup and sweet pickle relish. It's so good. Trent Thousand Island is awesome. It's a better thousand island.

Speaker 3:

I like thousand, i think so No, it's not. I don't get the hype between behind in and out burger. In and out burger is good. It's not great, it's just consistent and it's cheap. I would say it's consistently good.

Speaker 5:

It is consistently good. It is. It's in. Someone called me out for saying there's like one burger joint this side of the Mississippi That's good at $15 like you're not gonna buy a burger That's $15. That's better than the in and out burger And maybe you guys would disagree with that.

Speaker 4:

But there are burgers.

Speaker 3:

I don't really don't disagree with that. Their burgers are delicious. No one likes the baconator here.

Speaker 1:

I do but it's not better than it's also like that's also like fast food, fast food Like in and out true, it's an out on a different tier of fast food, like it's a luxury fast food. Yeah, you don't necessarily feel like you don't feel like super gross about it's not. You're gonna get me McDoubles from McDonald's, like yes, you feel like that way better about yourself.

Speaker 3:

No no it is Wendy's bread. You don't like it? No, you're a.

Speaker 5:

I am all in everything about in and out I love, i would say, from the staff to the burger fries milk shakes are solid you, when anyone have taken this pick.

Speaker 4:

I. Would have taken it wait which one in and out spread, i would have took it filled in. Say it, i would have taken all three of yours if I had the chance.

Speaker 5:

So Seth, you're an in and out guy, right? Yeah, have you ever put the, the peppers that they like, the?

Speaker 4:

not really I love ordering the burger and adding the chili.

Speaker 2:

Oh it's never done either It's.

Speaker 1:

Well, here's the thing about in and out, cuz the menu simple.

Speaker 4:

I'm mad when I almost every time. I'm mad when I forget.

Speaker 5:

My father-in-law. Actually, he was like he ordered. I'm like, what is this guy order and for what it's where? Jordan? This was only like last year, and so I saw him get it. I'm like I'm gonna put that on my burger, and now I don't order a burger without it. I try the next time what about the adds a little bit of tang to it. You know what I'm good you can order your patty like rare, medium rare.

Speaker 3:

Well done it in and out. You can also do your fries well done. Yeah, well done. I go. Well done fries. I like yeah, phil's probably a huge secret menu.

Speaker 5:

I also like grilled onions. I get the girl.

Speaker 3:

Fine Dutchman's, when I get.

Speaker 5:

I've slammed that before I bought the grilled cheese for my kids before the grilled cheese at in and out. Never had all right, seth, you're up.

Speaker 4:

I'm going with the sweet and spicy sriracha sauce, the most underrated sauce at Chick-fil-A. Now I'm mad when I forget to get this one, because I Why I like this one. If I do it with it's, i will consume more of the original sauce, but also, if I remember, i have the sweet and spicy. I'm not a biggest fan of sweet and spicy, but sweet and spicy sriracha. That's actually spicy, unlike unlike a Sweet and sour sauce. I'm not the biggest fan of the sour taste, but the spicies what I'm looking for. And if it's sweet and spicy, perfect. So dip them, but in both. So I'll dip in both with my fries and if I get nuggets I'll do that, but my with my burger or my chicken sandwich. I'm strictly going, just normal Chick-fil-A sauce okay.

Speaker 5:

That's I. I've never had it. I don't think it's really good It's leagues about it's.

Speaker 4:

What's saying is leagues above sweet and sour. It's basically sweet and sour, but it has that spicy to it and it's way better Okay so here's the deal, Why Chick-fil-A is king when it comes down to this okay.

Speaker 3:

And maybe I should save it. just say it there Their sauce is free, Yeah sure All you want. That's a big deal huge deal, good point you can go. You can go in there and take all the Chick-fil-A sauce they have you, yeah.

Speaker 1:

We've done and they don't care. It's good point.

Speaker 3:

Keynes, you got to pay for the sauce, and that is what makes me think something shouldn't be in the first round is Paying for a second sauce one in and out you don't pay for.

Speaker 5:

You don't have to pay for sauce, but you don't pay for really any add-ons at in and out. You're not paying for them. Yeah What.

Speaker 3:

I do in and out is I get that cup they have for the ketchup and I expand it and I get about three of those and Film up with ketchup and I usually need about half of it. The little cup Yeah you pull it out, just a pro in and out hack. As you spread those cups out, you put way more ketchup instead of having nine.

Speaker 5:

Oh, you open, like, almost like open up like a plate.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay. But yeah, the fact that Chick-fil-A sauces are free, Yeah, it's a big deal in the store.

Speaker 5:

It's a big deal We should do is a free draft. That wouldn't be bad like you can get our free, like sauces would easily be in there.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's a good one.

Speaker 3:

So I don't. Is there anything else you want to say about sweet and spicy sriracha set?

Speaker 4:

No, i don't think there's much more I can say, except it's like probably the number two option at Chick-fil-A. If you haven't gotten it and you try, it'll probably be your neck, your number two.

Speaker 5:

Okay, I do know that Trent has used Chick-fil-A sauce at least I thought you did for a rub on a pork.

Speaker 3:

I used that on a pork shoulder and it was good. It was good. Yeah, it's a good binder. Yeah, good binder. Yeah, i'll do that again, probably for our draft. But hey guys, before I recap, this first round, today's draft is brought to you by underdog. Underdog is the easiest way to play fantasy sports. Draft your team and forget it. No setting lineups, no trades. It's the dude's favorite place to play best ball and other kinds of DFS interdudes and they will match up. $200. Meant to bring this up on the old pod, but I didn't. Yeah, i didn't. They got the hot dog eating competition for 4th of July. I wouldn't be any underdog plays on there. I doubt it, but meant to bring up. You know the whole. You know the goat. What's that guy's name? the guy who eats all the hot dogs.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I know you're talking about.

Speaker 1:

Underdog Joey chestnut, over under 71 and a half hot dog, what do?

Speaker 3:

you do last year. I'm going over on that.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, but it's up on underdog.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm gonna have to check that out.

Speaker 4:

He's, he, uh, i can't wait by any record every year when he's what's the where's the regression, or when is he gonna find his average and stay there? 63 last year, that's a high number.

Speaker 5:

That's what he slammed it.

Speaker 4:

Before the last year. what he hit before last year, is he pacing himself?

Speaker 3:

No, last year, remember, the Star Wars guy came up there and messed him up in the middle and he had a broken lake, and he's still one.

Speaker 5:

He fought him off to bottom off. Yeah, Joey chestnut is worth 2.5 million dollars. That's his net worth man If. I could get paid that much to be a competitive eater. Yeah, what are we doing?

Speaker 3:

here I have.

Speaker 4:

He's probably a lot of like ad TV, ad things right over sure.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and probably like in food things. So, all right, that first round recap. I took Chick-fil-A sauce, jordan took Cain's, phil took in and out, then Seth took sweet and spicy sriracha. So we're going into the second round here And I think this is the best, second best sauce it might. The problem is I'm going sweet and sour sauce from McDonald's. Okay, that's my.

Speaker 4:

I really like that one's way better, but I think this one has to be taken because some people this is the number one- Yeah.

Speaker 3:

The problem with it is, though, is you have to pay, like I think, your first 10 nuggets. You get one pack, and then the next five, you go through more than one.

Speaker 4:

I think a 10 piece.

Speaker 3:

You get two packs and then a one, a five piece you only get one.

Speaker 4:

Mcdonald's is trying to make Their extra dollar. It's like it's theft.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you have chick-fil-a out here. Who's just giving?

Speaker 4:

you know all the other dollar to make one of those sauces. But it probably cost you one cent.

Speaker 3:

You know, phil, you've gone off on you know big pizza charging for ranch. But I do, but uh, sweet and sour sauce needs to be on this list. It absolutely needs a.

Speaker 5:

If you order, so they, they, they know the math. You have 10 nuggets and they're saying it only takes one of those things to fulfill your needs.

Speaker 3:

It's simply not enough.

Speaker 4:

This is America. Yeah, this is America where sauce rules.

Speaker 5:

Sauce rules. You need to include if they did two. No, I think you just give free sauce.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, even if they said, like they just upped it more than what it is right now, like, hey, we're gonna give two per five nuggets rather than, you know, one per ten.

Speaker 5:

Well, here's the problem. Trent, or and maybe Seth, you would agree on your second dunk of a chicken nugget. You're about halfway through the sauce.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's second dunk is.

Speaker 5:

You know, that's the high I've been chasing And I will say this about McDonald's, like I don't know what they use to make their nuggets, but the surface area of those things, the sauce does stick to them much better. They want you to buy more sauce into them, and it makes me a little bit nervous about what they're actually made of, because at Chick-fil-A they do not stick to them that well. Do you get what I'm saying? like, if you take?

Speaker 4:

a bite, because those nuggets probably weren't frozen correct at Chick-fil-A Yeah.

Speaker 3:

They're tenders, aren't they?

Speaker 5:

No, they're nuggets. I think You can buy nuggets. They're little circle bites.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, man, the thing with that. It just that irks me. But sweet and sour sauce that's the first sauce besides ketchup. I was just like, wow, what is this? This liquid gold? I need more of this. Yeah, you like sweet and sour? Yeah, sweet and sour. So Chick-Plai took that over, but that was kind of the first, like you know, getting out of my comfort zone.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, outside of ketchup.

Speaker 3:

That was your second love outside of ketchup. So and I think I would have sweet and sour more if they sold it at grocery stores and if I didn't have to pay for packets. You know, i mean you can only get sweet and sour at McDonald's.

Speaker 5:

You can yeah, that makes sense, And you can't store them in your fridge like you can.

Speaker 4:

Chick-plai sauce because you get extra Chick-Plai, you can just throw them in your fridge.

Speaker 3:

The fun fact about Chick-Plai too. I don't talk about them way too much. Those ketchup packets they have, they're unreal, they're good too, Oh yeah, they're huge.

Speaker 5:

Those are perfect for your little biteful. Yeah, the old grenade and you know yeah perfect, all right.

Speaker 3:

And then the chicken selects. those were really good. I wish they'd bring those back. All right, jordan. What do you got here in round two for your second pick?

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go Taco Bell Diablo sauce Diablo. Interesting. I know that the fire is probably the better pick, but I really like I get Diablo. I think Diablo over fire.

Speaker 3:

I have not had the.

Speaker 4:

Diablo Jordan goes for more spice. I do like the spice He wants, the hotter sauce.

Speaker 3:

Taco Bell sounds so good right now It does.

Speaker 4:

They brought back the volcano taco.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we should go.

Speaker 4:

We should, we should Why.

Speaker 3:

Why? When are we going to eat food on this?

Speaker 4:

podcast.

Speaker 5:

What is wrong with us? We did it one time, Seth, and these guys have lagged ever since. I'm right there.

Speaker 3:

I almost died the last time we ate on this pod. Yeah, well, at least you did. That spicy McNugget went down the wrong tune.

Speaker 5:

He was acting like. He makes me feel like a diva for throwing up while we're going like 95.

Speaker 3:

Did I throw up? Did I throw up? No, but he was like this, i'm a man. He had his hands on his knees.

Speaker 5:

He was like this And I'm like is this guy absolutely serious right now? Jordan.

Speaker 4:

Jordan, you were there.

Speaker 2:

I was there.

Speaker 5:

And it was so bad. He was like. He was like, basically like we had spoons. What do you heimlich him? I wasn't going to do anything to this guy because I wasn't sure what he was working through Like. I didn't know if he was like, if he was like coming to grips with where he was at in life or if he was choking on a spicy nugget. The other problem, Seth, is the guy was. The other problem that was really disgusting is we had these like frozen, like soda. Do you remember those Jordan? It was like weird, like frozen soda things which included spoons, the guys straight up. It was like Gideon, like where the guys like it was straight up, like the guys like what the shit? they would go down and like lean with their sword and pull the water up. Like this guy was straight up lapping it out of the thing with his hand. I'm like what is this? I don't remember that.

Speaker 1:

The best part is it was like Phil's, like first, second time on the pod.

Speaker 5:

And my dad was there. My dad was also there and this guy is like lapping up coke with his hand. I'm like the soda, the soda frozen coke.

Speaker 4:

He's a trans spamer.

Speaker 5:

Trent Jordan, you don't remember that?

Speaker 1:

I remember it, thank you. He looked like a powdered donut. I definitely remember him hyperventilating.

Speaker 5:

The hyperventilating was a real thing, though, seth, and it was like what is this guy's for? I was afraid to leave him in the garage alone I always think though Take a while on my shoes.

Speaker 4:

Phil always thinks he's more dramatic, but I can totally see Trent on his hands and knees, just Yes.

Speaker 3:

That story gets drastically worse every time it is shared, gideon.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if I would be. I don't know how many people are going to understand my reference, you know.

Speaker 3:

You are something else. So yeah, back to the Diablo sauce. I don't know what it is, i'm a sauce guy, but Taco Bell, i never get sauce.

Speaker 1:

Really, i always got to get some hot sauce. That's weird.

Speaker 2:

It's not thick enough.

Speaker 5:

It's too runny, yeah, no, no, i get what you're saying, yeah yeah. Yeah, it's more of like a hot sauce. It's not supposed to be like Yeah it's hot sauce is runny though. But I get what you're saying, Like it's like how you like the Sriracha one and how it kind of a little bit more sticky to the Sriracha is like has more like, it's more, like, it's more like ketchup, it's more like spicy ketchup.

Speaker 4:

Is this?

Speaker 5:

what you're saying. Try it. It's harder to eyeball how much you need to Yeah like it has a driving if I put in your that hot sauce on there.

Speaker 3:

See, like I don't run off.

Speaker 1:

It'll run off the tortilla I could eat like I could do the hot sauce. Like you like ketchup on the burrito, i could eat Diablo hot sauce like that. Really, yeah, i love that.

Speaker 3:

So see, in Spanish salsa means hot. You know it's sauce, you know that's salsa. So whenever I go to Mexico, it takes me, like you know, two meals, realize? oh, i want pico de gallo, not salsa. I don't want sauce, i like that, i like the thick, the substance, i want.

Speaker 5:

You want tomato onions, the you know, so like you go out to eat and they have sauce you know hot sauce for your chips.

Speaker 3:

I want also to mix it with the pico de gallo. They're probably best, but like huge.

Speaker 4:

I like a spicy pico was like. Paul Pinot's in there. Yeah, I'm a son over pico de gallo, really, yeah, i'm a spicy pico with some serrano peppers or some jalapenos in there.

Speaker 5:

Perfect, yeah, i guess of both worlds And honestly, you're not, you're not. Yeah, I. The only thing I don't like, i don't like cilantro. That's my That's my major.

Speaker 3:

It always surprises me.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, all right, should I?

Speaker 3:

go in my yeah, you're up Yeah.

Speaker 5:

I'm up, Okay, I'm going to go with. Oh man, I'm probably. I could probably get this in the third. That's what you say every drop but go ahead, the tangy barbecue sauce at McDonald's. I don't think you can go wrong with that, like it's just.

Speaker 1:

McDonald's has quite a big deal.

Speaker 3:

I haven't tried that. I need to. I need to expand my palate. I just don't want barbecue sauce.

Speaker 4:

when I go to McDonald's, i feel like I'm just not getting the chicken enough. What's it?

Speaker 5:

called Tangy. What? It's just barbecue sauce. Tangy barbecue sauce. Yeah, it's just a normal barbecue.

Speaker 3:

Maybe I should try it.

Speaker 4:

I should try it as a barbecue burger, because they don't really offer those at McDonald's.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, put a little on there. It's really good. I actually like dipping my burger. I will dip McChicken on there. I will dip fries in there. I prefer dipping my McDonald's fries in the tangy barbecue sauce over ketchup.

Speaker 2:

I don't love ketchup.

Speaker 5:

I don't love ketchup that much. honestly, I don't either. So that's my, that's my, that's my take there. I, me and I almost wanted to switch that up.

Speaker 3:

Do you not put ketchup on your hamburgers?

Speaker 5:

No.

Speaker 1:

I'll put ketchup on the hamburgers. That's about it.

Speaker 4:

What do you? what do you put Barbecue sauce?

Speaker 1:

I also. I prefer barbecue sauce over ketchup?

Speaker 4:

Do you do mustard?

Speaker 5:

No, i'll do mayo on like just a normal burger.

Speaker 1:

On a burger you put mayo.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, i love mayo cheese beef bread.

Speaker 1:

So if you're, if you're doing a hamburger at home, you're, you're grilling some hamburgers, you're putting mayo, yeah.

Speaker 3:

You guys have never done mayo. I do. I do mayo. I put ketchup on the side for dipping. If I dip my burger, i don't put it on the burger.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't like. I don't like ketchup on my burger at all, It's cheese avocado, mayo, mustard, peppers sometimes I don't put bacon.

Speaker 3:

I don't put pickles in there, bacon.

Speaker 5:

Yes, I'll put barbecue sauce on there.

Speaker 1:

I'm either. Barbecue sauce one, ketchup two. It's one of those.

Speaker 5:

I also like onion rings. Like a good cooked onion ring on a burger is one of my favorite things.

Speaker 4:

Man Like the cowgirl at our local burger joint.

Speaker 5:

Great Yeah. Awesome, my first love actually used to be the Western bacon at Western bacon. Oh my goodness.

Speaker 3:

That's the first time I had an onion in a burger, yeah.

Speaker 5:

True love.

Speaker 4:

Yes.

Speaker 5:

Okay, seth, you're up.

Speaker 4:

I'm going to go. this is right. I know Jordan said he should have took this one. I'm going to go with Taco Bell's fire sauce. I feel like if you don't want to like just completely destroy your mouth with the Diablo, which sometimes you might want to do you like that real spicy? I think maybe I'll get more votes than Jordan here with this one, because maybe more people will get the fire instead of the Diablo.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, i just. I just put the fire sauce on everything I get at Taco Bell. Yeah, it's pretty good, i'll put it. I'm going to go with Taco Bell and I did win that draft, so I'll even put that on my volcano taco. I'd put the fire sauce on there.

Speaker 3:

We should probably have the hottest one. I mean when they had it, yeah, okay, we should probably have a crunchy draft or just crunchy.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, crunchy things, yeah, okay Good chips.

Speaker 3:

I haven't like. I wish I could talk more on these Taco Bell sauces. I'm just uneducated in this department.

Speaker 4:

So I can't. I don't like eating Taco Bell when I'm driving. I prefer to sit down and eat Taco Bell.

Speaker 3:

Yes absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Because it is hard, i don't even go to drive. I prefer to just sit down and eat any food over driving.

Speaker 3:

No, but the thing is, i can eat a burrito and drive, but the thing is, i think me and Trent have driven a lot more.

Speaker 1:

You guys drive for work, you guys drive for work.

Speaker 4:

Maybe Trent not as much now, But back in the day Trent and I drove more.

Speaker 5:

And it's nice to be able to eat and drive.

Speaker 4:

And so if I want to eat and drive, I'm not going to go to Taco Bell if I know I have to drive while eating.

Speaker 5:

What is your eating and driving meal?

Speaker 4:

Anything that I can hold in my hand without getting all over myself.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, if I eat Taco Bell, i'm going to spill. Yeah, good luck eating a chalupa while you're driving.

Speaker 4:

More or less. I'm a crunchy taco guy. That's the messiest food you can get, Yeah that one's bad.

Speaker 5:

So yeah, it's also hard to eat a Chipotle burrito while driving. You know what I'm saying? It's hard to eat sitting down.

Speaker 3:

Fair point, don't you feel like a Chipotle burrito is kind of like it ends up? you have to use a fork at some point.

Speaker 4:

Well, you said sitting down, yeah, but like it's hard to eat sitting down, but yeah but no like yeah, because you like It's difficult in general.

Speaker 5:

Like it's, it's just hard to eat it on its own. Like it's just it's spilling all over. Oh, ok, i thought you meant just like eating sit And.

Speaker 3:

I was like what I'm for the light down for that.

Speaker 2:

And so I'm to feed it to him.

Speaker 5:

Yes, grapes. Oh my goodness, all right Straight.

Speaker 1:

All right, just table, phil, that's your cue to get me water.

Speaker 3:

All right, today's draft is brought to you by Trophy Smack, our new sponsors. If you're in a fancy football league, you need some new trophies, need some last place ribbons, you need some participation, participation awards, all that good stuff They do pictures all that good stuff. Go to trophysmackcom forward. Slash dudes, take your fancy football league in the next level and also get 15% off. So to recap, the second round.

Speaker 4:

Where are we right here?

Speaker 3:

Recap second round I had sweet and sour sauce, jordan had Diablo sauce, phil had tangy barbecue sauce and Seth had Taco Bell fire sauce. This is my last pick right here And this is a sauce I haven't tried so I can't draft it, but the Polynesian sauce at Chick-fil-A is very popular. Yeah, maybe someone's going to take that.

Speaker 4:

So I think that one might be officially the number two at Chick-fil-A The Polynesian. Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 3:

I think it's officially the number two. I haven't tried it so I can't talk about it Again. I'm an educator. There's another fad going around. You take your Chick-fil-A sandwich and you might like this, jordan. You take the bread and everything. You put it over here. You get the bag that your sandwich came in. You put the chicken in there. Then you get the Polynesian sauce. You dump it in the bag, you shake it around. So now your chicken is not, it's wet. You know it's a wet chicken sandwich Yeah. You take it out, put it back on the bread, you get the macaroni and cheese, throw it on top of the chicken, put it together, you eat it. It's a macaroni Polynesian sandwich.

Speaker 2:

It looks very good, it looks very good.

Speaker 3:

I don't know if you want to eat that in the restaurant You might get judged but yeah, it looks really good That macaroni Polynesian.

Speaker 1:

Sounds like something you do. On you take it home.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

You can do it at the restaurant.

Speaker 5:

What would be the con of doing it there? I guess you could, yeah, just sit down. You're definitely not doing it while driving. No, you're not.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a definitely you know unless you're very skilled, you eat your own driver.

Speaker 3:

It's a both hands meal. So, yeah, yeah, possibly need a fork, and maybe a bib too. Man, what am I going to like? I want to go catch up, because that's my favorite thing, but I feel like that's just too obvious, so I'm trying to look for something different.

Speaker 4:

Ketchup's everywhere, though, and it's always high.

Speaker 3:

Ketchup's everywhere. Yeah, and it's free everywhere you go, even if you.

Speaker 4:

Like. It's like not many, not many companies try to make their own catch up. They always do like a spicy catch up. They won't do a catch up, because they're going to carry Heinz, because that's what people want.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to go, I'm going to do a little spin here. Can I do spicy catch up from Whataburger? I really like that stuff.

Speaker 4:

I mean, you probably eat more than that. I've gone there, you probably go there, and you go to Texas almost every time.

Speaker 5:

I might get you some Texas, yeah. So I'm going to go spicy.

Speaker 3:

I've been there once, but that's going to lose me votes from people I know, like in our area. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's fine, though I mean, i feel like, if you like it, you like it, i'm going to go.

Speaker 1:

Do you like Whataburger? just in general.

Speaker 3:

It's not bad. It's not like my favorite place. So there's times I've gone there and I've been like, ah, that's okay. It seems like I don't know the menu good enough. It's very like in and out burger is very like simple. Yeah, whataburger is very big and like lots of stuff.

Speaker 4:

I like McDonald's.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, bigger than McDonald's. The Dr Pepper shakes I've heard a really good Whataburger. I haven't had those yet. But yeah, i'm going to go with the spicy catch up.

Speaker 4:

I think that's my favorite catch up there at Whataburger, that's spicy catch up So what do you mean in terms of like you'll get that over the normal catch up if you have the chance?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, i would, for a burger especially.

Speaker 4:

I like the spicy.

Speaker 3:

It's not too spicy where a lot of stuff. It's just it's better. It used to be. I think anti-catch up is what they said, but yeah, it's not too hot for me, i can handle it, okay. So I don't know if anyone's tried that, or I've been a Whataburger once.

Speaker 1:

I don't know I can't, it was all right. I heard a lot of hype and it was just okay. I couldn't tell you if I've had that sauce.

Speaker 5:

I've never been, i want to go. I'll be in Texas and next time you go to the area.

Speaker 4:

You got to go. Yeah, you see one by, you, just go Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Even if you're not hungry.

Speaker 4:

Just try it.

Speaker 5:

Yeah Are the lines long, or is it more of like a?

Speaker 4:

Most of them are 24 hours, so the lines are Yeah, I went at 1 am And there was no one there.

Speaker 3:

Did you like it?

Speaker 4:

I mean I thought it was okay. I probably had the same conclusion as you, Not my favorite.

Speaker 5:

It was worth trying. It was worth trying.

Speaker 4:

And I was like we're right here, it's on the road, like if I lived there, i don't know if I would go a bunch, but it seems like the drive-thrues go faster than like an out burger. But I wouldn't say they're like short either.

Speaker 3:

It's definitely like heavier, like you don't like.

Speaker 4:

It's more of that, it's more of a fast food than I would say in and out The burgers are a lot bigger than like in and out burgers And they're a lot bigger than like McDonald's burgers.

Speaker 5:

They're good size. Would you compare it to portions bigger?

Speaker 3:

Like Carl's Jr. I think it's bigger than like Carl's Jr burgers too And those are pretty good.

Speaker 5:

I would say pretty big Yeah. So All right, Jordan, you're up.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go Man, it's crazy how many McDonald's sauces we've taken. But I'm going to go with the McDonald's spicy buffalo sauce. Okay, You guys ever had that one?

Speaker 4:

I like that one too. It's pretty good.

Speaker 1:

What do you get it with? So? so what I do with it is and shout out to I know he's in the past, i don't know if he's still Justice, padama, let's turn to the pod. but we're in high school and he was like dude, you got to try this. He's the McDoubles. you know the one that we got the McDoubles in high school. He's all go and he's like, go ask for the spicy buffalo sauce and dip your McDouble in the spicy buffalo sauce. He's going to change your life And I think every time ever since then I've gotten them hot spicy buffalo sauce thawing McDouble.

Speaker 5:

Why? for the better or life?

Speaker 1:

for the worse better. It's, it's good.

Speaker 4:

I feel like it might be bad if I'm with the chicken sandwich.

Speaker 1:

No, it's it's the McDouble man.

Speaker 4:

You guys, it's pretty good with the.

Speaker 1:

McDouble Yeah, spicy buffalo sauce. It's pretty good sauce too.

Speaker 3:

It's not bad. Yeah, i Just some of the stuff we've had on like on. I wish I. I'm not a huge buffalo sauce guy though, so, but like that's so you. You get with McDouble's, you don't get with like nuggets.

Speaker 1:

I have tried out the nuggets. It's all with nuggets. Okay, i also like spicier Things like. I spice your cuisine.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I like the kick that it gives things Nice so what do you got here?

Speaker 5:

Phil Did gosh. Did someone say honey mustard already for McDonald's?

Speaker 3:

No, one said that that one's not bad.

Speaker 1:

Donald's has a lot of sauce. Okay, i'm gonna go.

Speaker 5:

Mcdonald's honey mustard. I actually wish I would have went with that around to. Mcdonald's honey mustard is really good. I Used to like when they did you ever knew, do like the chicken wraps.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we're good.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, chicken wraps with those honey mustard.

Speaker 3:

No good point, those are so good chicken wraps the honey mustard in there.

Speaker 5:

You can also dip the fries. I really like honey mustard and I don't think enough people make a good honey mustard.

Speaker 1:

I like honey mustard over a regular mustard. All honey mustard so much better.

Speaker 5:

I wish I know people will say Chick-fil-A's sauce is close to honey mustard. I don't think it is. I think Chick-fil-A should dabble in the honey mustard game. Maybe they do and I haven't.

Speaker 3:

Maybe it's just too similar I my favorite honey mustard is red Robin. I've said that before on the pod, that's my favorite red red Robin has a solid menu. That's all in menu. They don't. They're a little too, even though it's all you can eat. The fries are a little too stingy with them.

Speaker 5:

I agree you get like five put a little bit more like a little bit more than that.

Speaker 3:

That, uh, what's it called basket? fill that basket up. Yeah uh no. Mcdonald's honey mustard. That's not bad, that's solid. I don't get that. See, if it was like Chick-fil-A, where you get all these sauces for free at McDonald's, i would you know, go to dabble a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Mcdonald's targeting now for sauces.

Speaker 5:

We talked about that like two rounds ago, did you guys?

Speaker 3:

Sour it's. It's 25 cents a packet that, yeah, 25 cents isn't horrible, though It's not horrible, but that's the difference. Was taco. You know if you go and ask like after you already ordered.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes I'll just give it to you for free.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, because they don't want it to go. It's called people not doing their job. No, but you are right If you order then you're like oh can.

Speaker 1:

I get a spicy buffalo and they'll be like sure, and I'll just give it to you.

Speaker 5:

I am glad we're on our last pick. I am just absolutely dripping, are you guys?

Speaker 4:

I feel cooler. I'm not too bad. I see you feel like you pulled off after we took the fan from the other dude in here.

Speaker 3:

Well, he's sitting by the fan.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, all right pointed directly at him.

Speaker 3:

I feel it, you don't feel it? not at all Okay.

Speaker 5:

It's not even. Did you change that, or did the guy who left change it? I don't know. I didn't put it there and he just magically put it on my leg.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, all right, this one is hard to find, but I have had it before and I really liked it And I've haven't. I've had it like probably less than five times, and I'm not the biggest sauce guy in the world because I genuinely stick with the sauces that we've all said Yeah. So I'm pretty reaching for a pick here, but I've had this one hot mustard from McDonald's.

Speaker 5:

Hot mustard.

Speaker 4:

I have not had that you have to try it if you find it, and I think it's more of a southern thing, but it's like it's. I think Jordan would probably like it more than that mustard I love. So let me just say this I used up to like four years ago, i did not like mustard probably just some stupid Thing in my head.

Speaker 3:

There's your calories and mustard.

Speaker 4:

You can eat all you want. No, be like I didn't like mustard and then I've had mustard.

Speaker 5:

I've actually sometimes prefer mustard over ketchup in a lot of ways hot dogs on mustard on hot dogs way better than ketchup.

Speaker 4:

I do both, but I love, and if it's spicy mustard I'm all for it. John the zone You know like to zone. I like it, but.

Speaker 1:

I was John. D John is D John. I think I'd still err on the.

Speaker 4:

Heinz ones.

Speaker 5:

Okay, oh, really, just your your standard yellow.

Speaker 2:

I am not a standard mustard.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I Still like.

Speaker 4:

To do like to John. Yeah, maybe not on like a hot dog or like a burger, but maybe I'm like something different, if that makes sense, i'm not sure a sandwich or something. Yeah like an honest sausage like yeah like a German style, like Braverian, like Octoberfest type you talk about you sing some words I don't know, but You guys know what I'm talking about like an October.

Speaker 5:

I know you're talking about. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I didn't realize that McDonald's was so big in the sauce game. I really have a lot of sauce.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, there's sauce and I don't know if they're all like, they're not. I think that they go in the top. Did they go in the top around one?

Speaker 3:

They didn't go round one So that's the thing I think some people they're very, very diverse.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're right, they're a lot of depth in their sauce. There's a lot of depth.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so Recapping the whole draft here I.

Speaker 5:

Really wanted to say ranch, although I know it's not like it was hard to say where to, because the Chick-fil-A ranch is not good.

Speaker 3:

I haven't even tried it. I would never try ranch at Chick-fil-A Yeah. I like sacrilegious.

Speaker 4:

No point Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I have it. Might be okay, but you're just eating it after the chick-fil-a sauce.

Speaker 2:

You know, i'm saying sauce.

Speaker 5:

You know, I haven't, you know, but I may as well put the chick. Give the ranch a fair.

Speaker 3:

Give the ranch a fair shake. That's probably the smartest thing we've ever said. Recap the whole drafts I had Chick-fil-A sauce, sweet and sour spicy ketchup. Jordan had Canes Diablo sauce, mcdonald's spicy Buffalo. Phil had in and outs sauce And McDonald's Taney barbecue sauce in McDonald's honey mustard. Seth had sweet and spicy sriracha, taco Bell fire sauce in McDonald's hot mustard. Just some stuff people said online.

Speaker 1:

I know that we had a big mess, just because we don't ever eat at this place. So yeah, Colvers It's the Culver's, and I've actually been to Culver's lot probably Somewhere between five and eight times people like Culver's and I like Culver's a lot. I just and not a cheese sauce cheddar cheese sauce guy, i'm never gonna try something like that, i just like I don't like I don't want the cheese at Taco Bell either The cheese sauce not another cheese like I don't want that.

Speaker 4:

I want to dip my fries in, not your cheese, i'm sure.

Speaker 1:

I am sure that Culver's sauce is pretty good if you like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just.

Speaker 1:

Culver's is really good. I really like Culver's. I haven't been, i need to try it.

Speaker 3:

So I asked on Instagram some stuff that people like We had. Nate Tuck said in and out special sauce and McDonald's sweet and sour. Houston hers corn said ketchup has gotten me through many meals that I didn't particularly particularly enjoy. That's a great call. Z-loap said Freddy's fry sauce, taco Bell sauce. Wendy's ghost pepper ranch in and out spread. So a little bit in and out stuff there. Have you guys been to Freddy's? they have these.

Speaker 1:

No where's where it's.

Speaker 3:

Midwest.

Speaker 1:

It's from Kansas. I haven't been there and then Twitter.

Speaker 3:

We had I need to go to Wendy's more.

Speaker 4:

I just get the generic thing I get every time and I get a frosty and I'm like this frosty is overpowers everything.

Speaker 3:

I'm like it's so good I don't think about anything besides the frosty, Yeah so James Danielson on Twitter said Arby's sauce is the 101 and I will die on this hill.

Speaker 5:

The only time I've been to Arby's was with Trent, just not Arby's. I don't even remember go.

Speaker 3:

I forget about going that Arby's trip. Yeah, and I don't even remember what I got.

Speaker 5:

Nor do I, but is that? how have you?

Speaker 1:

gone. I got the French dip or something.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, mate, we went in, I was just 16 years old The thing about like one of those like meat sandwich places. This is just. I just scream fast food to me and I don't like. I don't know if I want a fast food. French dip sandwich Yeah, I know. I think I want, like a Restaurant, french dip.

Speaker 3:

This is a good one. Ryan Howard said Chick-fil-A sauce the baseball player, not the baseball player. Maybe actually this is a sport. Chick-fil-a sauce Panda teriyaki. Which Panda teriyaki? is good, It's good but it's not very versatile. That's only Chinese food. You're eating that with, really. And then he said He said the Grand Canyon, anything else including ketchup, and I like ketchup, so the Grand Canyon, i think he's saying just any.

Speaker 4:

I mean the Mount Rushmore.

Speaker 3:

Maybe that's what it is, i don't know.

Speaker 1:

That's how he worded it. Hey, i have a something we didn't talk about. I think it's kind of a sleeper. It's kind of a weird sauce to be said, the honey sauce from a KFC.

Speaker 5:

Yes, i haven't had it yet.

Speaker 1:

You, you don't put on your, your burnt your biscuits.

Speaker 5:

I have not been a KFC in probably 10 years.

Speaker 3:

Really that's a sad life that honey.

Speaker 1:

The honey sauce is pretty good from KFC last weekend. Nice. Yeah, i'm not a huge KFC guy. I don't go over often. The master of honey?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, do they still have that twister burrito. That thing is so good that fried chicken in there With the tomato no, oh, that thing is.

Speaker 2:

I haven't had that years.

Speaker 5:

KFC is good, though I have no problem with I, just haven't had it.

Speaker 4:

I haven't had a prefer it over a different restaurant.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'd rather just the KFC twister is made of fried chicken strips. Creamy pepper, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato used to be a popular item at Kentucky fried chicken, but it's disappeared from the menu. That's kind of like the McDonald's when I talked about yeah, just don't think that those places are set up to serve tortillas. It probably messes the whole thing up. You know, just Staying your lanes, yep, exactly. Well, i think that does it, guys. Thanks for listening. Remember, share this with a friend if you liked it. We will see you next time and, as always, take care.
